What to do now
- Get a new ID or passport through eCitizen. If it was lost or stolen, get a police abstract first.
- Ask Safaricom or your bank for statements of the money you sent and received while abroad.
- If your chats were backed up (for example WhatsApp to Google Drive), restore them on a new phone.
- Write down what happened while you remember: dates, names, places. It counts even without papers.
- Ask our team: we can ask your agency, NEA or the embassy for records you no longer have.
